When you arrive at the dropzone, just walk on up to where you see people. Staff are usually wearing Blue Staff shirts with our colorful LOGO. You may also encounter some of our friendly family of jumpers. Don’t be shy! Just ask and you will be directed to someone who can can show you around, and help you get signed in.
Eric began jumping 16 years ago and had to pack the parachute that he used for his 1st ever jump. He attended the Tandem Instructor Certification Course with the minimum qualifications possible for attendance and passed with “flying colors” He soon came to work at School of Human Flight and has been here ever since. That was a long time ago. He now has over 6500 Tandem Jumps, holds a USPA Accelerated Freefall Rating and does freefall videography. Eric is happily married with 2 sons : Kyle 12 and Ryan 8. You will often see Kyle and Ryan at the Drop Zone too! They are future skydivers for sure!
John came to join us last Summer after retiring as a MARSOC Marine where his specialties involved parachute rigging and of course skydiving instruction, John has over 8700 jumps and holds a USPA Tandem Examiner Rating (he can certify Instructors) a USPA AFF Rating, and is an FAA Master Rigger.
Cindy began jumping 31 years ago and has never stopped. She has racked up over 8500 skydives. Her many accomplishments include 3 Skydiving World Records for large Freefall Formations. She founded the School of Human Flight in 1994 after 10 Years of travelling around the World as a free-lance Instructor, Trainer and Photographer/ Videographer. Her qualifications include Instructional Ratings in Tandem, Accelerated Freefall and Static Line. She holds an FAA Senior Parachute Rigger Certificate, and a Private Pilot License as well. She has been appointed as a USPA Safety and Training Advisor for over 24 years, has served as an Accelerated Freefall Evaluator, and a Jumpmaster and Instructor Course Director (Training Instructors). Her goal is to still be jumping in her 80’s!
Doug is a retired US Army Major and used to fly 727’s. He has made 2 jumps but we want him to stay in the plane now! He is Airline Transport Pilot Rated.
Woody is a retired USAF C-130 Pilot. He is a USAF Academy Graduate and has made a handful of skydives. He also holds an Airline Transport Pilot Rating.
Austin made his 1st jump a few years ago. He answered an ad for a parachute packer and had it down in 1 day. (we had planned for 2 months of weekends to get him up to speed) He is now our primary parachute packer and he has packed over 600 parachutes , including his own as he, of course, jumps too!
